Due to the fact that the Centre has become a focal point and satellite for service delivery in this rural part of the borough the Centre building has outgrown its current capacity. The focal point of the borough is some 45 mile round trip so people of the local communities turn to the Community Centre to provide some of the essential services and facilities required. Overall, the capacity of the Centre has reached its limit meaning bookings frequently have to be declined. |

This image shows the rear of the main hall of the Centre. This is the proposed site for the sports hall extension. The internal part of the wall will remain to allow a division between the old and the new parts of the hall. |
